The Colt Single Action Army is a single action revolver chambered in .45 Colt with a 5.5 inch barrel and a 6-Shot cylinder. A blued barrel and cylinder sit on a color case hardened frame, and the gun weighs 42 ounces at 11 inches overall. A polished spur hammer, fixed sights, and black composite eagle grips complete this Peacemaker style revolver.
The action is single action only, so the hammer is cocked for each shot. A 2nd generation style cylinder bushing is used in the cylinder. The frame is steel, and the barrel finish is black over the blue. Fixed sights keep the profile classic, with no optic cut or adjustable rear.

During my training at gunsmithing school, I gained a new appreciation for the Colt SAA. This will be in my collection for a long, long time.
