The Harrington & Richardson Retro M16A1 is a semi automatic AR pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and built to evoke the classic M16A1 configuration. It uses forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers finished in black anodizing with an M16A1 style upper that includes integrated carry handle sights. The design prioritizes traditional handling characteristics and period correct aesthetics.

A 20 inch pencil profile barrel is made from 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a parkerized finish and chrome lining. It features a 1/12 twist rate, rifle length gas system, 1/2x28 threaded muzzle with A1 style flash hider, and a rifle height front sight base. Triangular M16A1 handguards with heat shields, an A1 style pistol grip, and fixed stock complete the classic furniture package.

The lower is equipped with the H&R retro fire control group and flat trigger guard for authentic operation. Overall length is listed at 30 inches.
