USED DPMS Panther Arms LR-308 .308 Win 24″ Stainless Bull Barrel – Scope, Bipod, 2 Magazines & Case

This DPMS Panther Arms LR-308 is chambered in .308 Winchester and configured as a heavy-barreled precision-oriented semi-automatic rifle. The receiver is factory marked DPMS Panther Arms, Model LR-308, while the stainless barrel is clearly marked “DPMS CAL .308 1-10,” confirming the chambering and 1:10 twist rate.

The rifle appears to be the classic DPMS long-range configuration built around a 24-inch stainless bull barrel, fixed A2-style stock, and ribbed aluminum free-float handguard. Period documentation for the DPMS Panther .308 Long Range describes this configuration with a 24-inch 416 stainless bull barrel, 1:10 right-hand twist, fixed A2 stock, and fully free-floated aluminum tubular handguard, closely matching the rifle pictured here. NRA Museums Exact factory SKU should still be considered unconfirmed because the barrel length has not been physically measured.

This example is fitted with a large-objective variable-power scope in conventional rings on the receiver's Picatinny rail. The optic has exposed target-style adjustment turrets, but its manufacturer, magnification range, and model markings are not clear enough in the photographs to identify confidently. Also included are a bipod, two detachable magazines, and fitted hard case. The exterior appears very good overall, with relatively light handling wear visible on the stock and finish.
