USED Weatherby Vanguard Black Hills .223 Rem – 24" Threaded Barrel – DiscoveryOpt LHD 8-32x56 FFP

This Weatherby Vanguard Black Hills is chambered in .223 Remington and combines Weatherby’s proven Vanguard bolt-action platform with the distinctive factory Black Hills configuration. The rifle features the factory hand-painted black polymer stock with green and tan accents, a 24-inch threaded barrel, Monte Carlo-style stock profile, and a factory Peak 44 Picatinny optics rail. The Vanguard action and barrel are manufactured by Howa in Japan, with final assembly performed by Weatherby in the United States.

The Black Hills series also incorporates Weatherby’s two-stage match-grade trigger, three-position safety, cold hammer-forged barrel, hinged floorplate, and Peak 44 accessory system. The .223 Remington Black Hills was offered both as a shorter heavy-barrel model and as a 24-inch standard-profile configuration; the proportions of this example are consistent with the 24-inch VBS223RR6B configuration. The muzzle is threaded, making the rifle ready for compatible muzzle accessories. Weatherby originally supplies Black Hills models with its Accubrake ST, although no brake is shown installed in these photographs.

Mounted on the rifle is a DiscoveryOpt LHD 8-32x56SFIR long-range optic. This model features 8-32x magnification, a 56mm objective, 34mm tube, first-focal-plane reticle, illumination, side-focus parallax adjustment, and zero-stop turrets. The rifle appears to be in excellent used condition, with very limited visible handling wear and a clean overall presentation.
