The Ruger Scout is a bolt action rifle chambered in 350 Legend featuring a 16.5 inch barrel, 5+1 capacity, matte black finish, black synthetic stock, and forward-mounted Picatinny rail for modern optics. It is Gunsite Approved with the Gunsite name rollmarked on the receiver and includes a built-in accurate sighting system with ghost ring adjustable rear aperture sight and non-glare blade front sight.

This model incorporates a non-rotating Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor with fixed blade ejector, three-position safety, free-floated cold hammer-forged barrel with ultra-precise rifling, and a detachable box magazine with push-forward release. Additional features include sling swivel studs, soft rubber buttpad with spacers, and patented integral scope mounts machined directly on the solid-steel receiver for a stable mounting surface.
